TYC Releases 2024 Sustainability Report

TYC's 2024 Sustainability Report has been officially released and has obtained moderate assurance under the AA1000AS v3 Type 1 standard by an independent third-party verification company. The report is structured into six key chapters：Stakeholder Engagement and Material Topic Identification, Sustainable Management and Ethical Governance, Climate Change and Sustainable Environment, Supply Chain Management, Friendly and Healthy Workplace, as long as Local Care and Social Inclusion. TYC demonstrates its ongoing commitment to sustainability and highlights the concrete it has taken actions taken to create sustainable impact.

1. Delivered 9 innovative R&D outcomes, including 2 projects recognized with the Taiwan Excellence Awards, continuously showcasing TYC’s innovation capabilities and competitive strength.

2. Reduced GHG emissions intensity by 11.09% and energy intensity by 7.5%, reflecting proactive efforts in energy conservation and climate change mitigation.

3. Recycled 5.4 million liters of water and achieved a 35% waste resource recovery rate, reinforcing resource recovery and circular economy practices.

4. 100% of carton packaging materials sourced from FSC-certified suppliers, supporting sustainable forestry and environmental stewardship.

5. Invested NT$3.48 million in employee development, providing 23,114 hours of training to promote professional growth and lifelong learning.

6. Implemented a Labor and Business Ethics Policy aligned with RBA standards, demonstrating our respect for and commitment to human rights.

7. Maintained a record of zero occupational diseases, major workplace injuries, or plant safety incidents, ensuring a safe, friendly, and high-quality work environment.

8. Donated NT$1,607,200 to support 30 individual cases in urgent need and 23 organizations, exemplifying TYC’s dedication to social welfare.

9. Organized 9 community engagement initiatives, including beach cleanup, Earth Hour participation, fire safety support and etc.
