On July 3, 2026, TYC Brother Industrial Co., Ltd. formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for an ESG partnership with the Taijiang National Park Headquarters, National Park Service, Ministry of the Interior. The collaboration aims to promote Black-faced Spoonbill habitat enhancement and wetland ecosystem conservation, safeguarding valuable natural assets for future generations. This partnership also demonstrates a cross-sector collaboration model between business and government in sustainability, strengthening conservation efforts and environmental education through public–private collaboration, and expanding TYC’s positive impact on society and the environmental.
In recent years, Taijiang National Park has promoted the “Black-faced Spoonbill Donut” conservation model, integrating the resources of local fishers, enterprises, and government to support habitat-friendly aquaculture ponds. This approach expands feeding habitats for the species while balancing ecological protection with local economic vitality. The model’s environmental, social, and economic value aligns with TYC’s vision of “local prosperity.”
The Black-faced Spoonbill, an internationally significant conservation species that returns to Taijiang each winter, is also a key indicator of the region's ecological health. For TYC, protecting habitats is not only part of corporate social responsibility, but also a long-term commitment rooted in a deep connection to the land. TYC Group operates across 14 locations worldwide. Its headquarters in Anping, together with Plant 1, Plant 2, Plant 3, and group companies JUOKU Technology and DBM Technology in Anping and Tainan Industrial Park, are all located adjacent to Taijiang National Park. As global climate and sustainability challenges intensify, TYC is taking action from the land where it was founded. Together with TYC group companies, TYC is launching biodiversity and nature-positive initiatives to support local ecological conservation.
The MOU establishes a three-year cooperation framework. In its first year, TYC will support five habitat-friendly fish ponds in Cengxi and Hainan Villages, donate ecological monitoring equipment, and develop environmental education programs for employees. By leveraging the expertise of Taijiang National Park Headquarters, both parties will continue to enhance wetland conservation outcomes and improve habitat conditions for the Black-faced Spoonbill.
Looking ahead, TYC will further advance its “TYC Light for Life” sustainability vision, starting with local ecological conservation and gradually expanding to global sustainability initiatives. Guided by the flight paths of the Black-faced Spoonbill, the company aspires to bring Taiwan’s conservation experience to the international stage, serving as a model for corporate engagement in biodiversity protection.
