TYC Releases 2025 Sustainability Report


TYC announces the release of its 2025 Sustainability Report, which has obtained third-party moderate assurance under AA1000AS v3 Type 1. The report is structured around six key pillars: Sustainable Management and Practices, Corporate Governance and Ethical Business Conduct, Product Responsibility and Value Chain, Environmental Stewardship, Friendly Workplace and Employee Well-being, and Community Engagement and Social Inclusion. It comprehensively presents the Company's sustainability performance and key achievements for the year 2025. The report also outlines 20 specific initiatives that support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), further illustrating how the Company's sustainability strategy is integrated into its business operations and contributing to a more resilient and sustainable future.

TYC continues to advance its core lighting technologies through its innovative R&D efforts. In 2025, the Company introduced eight new products and technological developments. Among them, two products received recognition from the Taiwan Excellence Awards. In addition, AI generative models have been integrated into automotive lighting design processes. Furthermore, TYC has obtained TISAX certification, reinforcing its information security management framework and further strengthening international customers’ confidence in its technological capabilities and service quality.

In Environmental Stewardship, TYC's Plant 1 in Tainan Industrial Park has obtained ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification in 2025. The Company achieved a 21.8% reduction in greenhouse gas emission intensity in 2025, while its waste recycling rate reached 51.9%, reflecting the Company's ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental impact.

In Friendly Workplace and Employee Well-being, TYC provided a total of 27,706 training hours, with training-related expenditures of approximately NT$3.4 million. The Company adheres to the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct and is committed to safeguarding human rights. In addition, TYC was honored with the 'Excellence Award' in Workplace Fire Safety SDGs Disclosure by the National Fire Agency, reflecting its commitment to workplace safety management.

In Community Engagement and Social Inclusion, TYC carried out various initiatives, including Earth Hour campaigns, World Water Day beach cleanup activities, the donation of advanced ambulances, disaster relief efforts following Typhoon Danas, and blood donation programs. The Company also participates in Tainan industrial park environmental maintenance and streetlight sponsorship programs, as long as continues long-term philanthropic contributions through its charitable foundations. These initiatives reflect the Company’s ongoing commitment to local communities and social responsibility.
